Korowa Girls School Golf Program - A Trailblazing Success

The Australian Women's Golf Network is thrilled to announce the successful completion of an innovative 6-week golf program for Korowa Anglican Girls' School at the prestigious Commonwealth Golf Course. As the first program of its kind for girls' schools in Australia, this groundbreaking event showcases AWGN's commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for young women in golf.

The program featured an intensive golf clinic followed by a valuable networking session for students as they prepare for future leadership roles in the workforce. With Korowa at the forefront of creating new pathways for young women to engage in golf, this initiative sets a high bar for educational institutions to drive progress and innovation within the sector.

Korowa's commitment to offering diverse opportunities for students to explore their interests and cultivate new skills is evident in the success of the golf program. We look forward to witnessing the remarkable achievements of the participants as they continue their golfing journey, promoting inclusivity, breaking down barriers, and empowering the next generation of female golfers.

We extend our gratitude to equipment partners PING, Callaway, 5 Iron Golf and The House of Golf for providing top-of-the-line junior girls' and women's golf equipment and prizes, and to Korowa Anglican Girls' School for their dedication to enriching students' lives through sports and wellness programs.

As AWGN’s Girls School Golf Program sets a precedent for future initiatives, we eagerly anticipate the growth of golf programs in girls' schools and the development of confident young women who are well-equipped to succeed both on and off the course.
